At KLBC we seek to provide opportunities for children to learn
and develop in an atmosphere that is safe and incredibly fun.
Safe
Childrens’ programs at KLBC are led by adults with proven
character. We take child protection very seriously and we have a detailed policy
in place following recommended good practice, of which a copy is available in our
church office.

Child friendly
We desire that children thoroughly enjoy the activities
at KLBC. Each activity is designed for the needs, interests and attention span of
that particular age group. Since children have different personalities, options
are often available so children can choose between more active games and quieter
games or crafts.
Value and Application Orientation
Each Sunday there is a key point to be learned, with
an emphasis on communicating values, not just facts. We strive to help children
see how they can apply what they have learned in daily living.
Developmental
At KLBC we want to offer not only a good time, but also
opportunities for children to develop leadership and other skills.
